Clip All Your Stores in One Tap

Our biggest update yet: clip coupons at every store you shop — all at once, with a single tap.

Pick the stores you shop at, tap Clip All My Stores, and DigiClippy works through the whole list for you, grabbing every available coupon at each one. No more opening the app for one store, waiting, then starting over for the next.

How it works

For any store you're already signed into, DigiClippy clips it automatically. If a store needs you to sign in first, it moves that one to the top of the list so you can sign in and clip it with a tap.

It works on several stores at the same time, so a full list finishes in about the time it used to take for a single store.

A few stores that let you filter or cap your coupons — like Kroger's family of stores and Meijer — are still clipped one at a time, so you stay in control of which coupons you get.

Update the app from the App Store or Google Play to get it.

Clip Exactly What You're Looking At

DigiClippy now follows the filters you set on the store's own coupon page. Narrow the page down to the categories or brands you actually want, tap clip, and those are the coupons you get.

Why this matters

Some stores cap how many coupons one account can hold. Kroger, for example, shows around 750 coupons but only lets you clip 250 of them. Until now, you got whichever 250 came first — which meant the cap decided for you.

Now you decide. Filter to produce, or to the brands you buy, and DigiClippy fills those 250 slots with coupons you'll actually use.

Which stores

Kroger and its family of stores (Ralphs, Fred Meyer, King Soopers, Smith's, Fry's, QFC, Dillons, Food 4 Less and the rest) and Meijer. Other stores clip everything available, as before.

If you don't set a filter, nothing changes — you'll get everything, same as always.

Update the app from the App Store or Google Play to get this.

Eight New Stores

We've added eight more stores, bringing DigiClippy to 77+ supported stores:

  • Carlie C's
  • Dan's
  • Giant Eagle
  • Lin's
  • Macey's

We also restored clipping at Food Lion, Giant, Hannaford and Stop & Shop after those stores changed their coupon system, and at Food 4 Less. If you'd given up on one of those, it's working again.

Update the app from the App Store or Google Play to get the new stores. You can also use Store Updates in the app menu to pick up the latest clipping rules without waiting for an app update.

Ibotta Cashback Support, Settings Screen, and More

  • Added Ibotta — auto-activate cashback offers hands-free
  • New settings screen with completion sound option
  • Bug fixes and improvements

A note about Ibotta

Ibotta works a little differently than grocery store coupons. Their system limits how fast offers can be activated and requires periodic short pauses. DigiClippy respects this pacing automatically. For a store with hundreds of offers, the full process can take several minutes.

The good news: it's still fully automatic. Tap once, walk away, and come back when it's done. We even added an optional completion sound (in Settings) so you know when it's finished without having to check the app.

You'll also want to clip at each Ibotta retailer you shop at — most offers carry over automatically once activated, but some are store-specific.

Update the app from the App Store or Google Play to get the latest version.

Albertsons Family Stores: Store Selection Loop

Update: DigiClippy now handles this for you. The app detects the store's "select a store" prompt when it appears mid-clip and dismisses it, so clipping continues instead of stalling. You shouldn't need to do anything.

The original explanation is kept below, because the underlying behaviour still exists on Albertsons' own website — you may still see it in a regular browser.

Some users experienced an issue where Albertsons family stores (Safeway, Vons, Acme, Shaw's, Star Market, Tom Thumb, Randalls, and others) got stuck in a "select a store" loop when trying to access the coupons page.

What's happening

Albertsons uses a shared account system across all of their store brands. When a user is signed into one store (for example, Safeway) and then visits a different store (for example, Vons), their system can get confused by the conflicting store data. This causes the site to repeatedly ask you to select a store.

This is not a DigiClippy issue

This same problem occurs in a regular web browser outside of DigiClippy. It is a known issue with Albertsons' website infrastructure. You may also see a message from the store saying "The store currently selected has been changed to our sister store."

If it still happens

  • Use the Clear Cookies option in DigiClippy's menu, then sign into only one Albertsons family store at a time.
  • If the issue persists after clearing cookies, contact Albertsons customer service for assistance with your account.

Affected stores

Acme, Albertsons, Andronico's, Balducci's, Carrs, Haggen, Jewel-Osco, Kings Food Market, Pavilions, Randalls, Safeway, Shaw's, Star Market, Tom Thumb, and Vons.
